About the event
We invite you on a collaborative and intimate journey of self discovery, using the Hakomi Method for spiritual unfolding. We are very fortunate to have Donna and Flint as our teachers for this journey. They have led retreats together for more than 20 years and masterfully hold space for self exploration and growth. Both were trusted by the method's creator, Ron Kurtz, to bring forth this work after his death as legacy holders of the Hakomi Method.
Flint Sparks is a Zen Buddhist teacher and Spiritual Director who leads retreats internationally with an emphasis
on the interface between psychology and spiritual practices in personal transformation. He is a guiding teacher at
both Appamada, a center for Zen practice and inquiry in Austin, Texas and Open Door Zen Community in
Madison, Wisconsin. He is also a guiding teacher in several Zen informed sanghas in the UK and Switzerland.
Flint is a former Clinical Psychologist who specialized in working with people with
chronic and terminal disease.
Donna Martin has been a student and teacher of yoga and meditation for almost fifty years. An international
Hakomi trainer, Donna has taught Hakomi and the Practice of Loving Presence (psychotherapy as spiritual practice) at various centers all over the world.
