I unexpectedly fell in love with Hakomi during my first encounter with the method: participating in a group practice in Vancouver doing simple Loving Presence exercises. The consistent capacity of the work to create open and deep spaces, conducive to healing and full-bodied nourishment, continues to delight and inspire me.

In addition to studying the method in Vancouver, I also studied in the UK and Spain and was part of establishing Hakomi Norway. I have been part of creating Hakomi Cascadia with the Hakomi Trainer, Maria Serrano. I am currently a certified Hakomi practitioner and working towards my California license as a Marriage and Family Therapist at the California Institute of Integral Studies.

I bring to my practice a commitment and previous experience of social justice work and my lens as a social anthropologist, as well as being a yoga and meditation teacher.
